This is a good friend of mine, and he knows I can take this kind of stuff. I think he was bluntly putting the feelings that many people have toward preachers. According to the world, many preachers are either self-righteous and snobby or foolish hypocrites who teach one thing and do another. All of us are just taking advantage of people, making a living off of organized religion. The same is often said of many devout Christians. How are we supposed to influence people who think about us this way?
